Heard that my friend Annette's reading in Green Bay went well!
We were at the other side of the state, in Lake Geneva, where My Lovely Wife Marsha and my son, Josh, ran a very hilly 5K in very hot and humid weather. But they did great!
My friend Annette Grunseth has just released a powerful new book, Combat and Campus: Writing Through War. It contains letters from her brother Peter, written when hewas deployed in Vietnam in the late 1960s. Honest, compelling, heartbreaking--could not put it down. Annette will be doing a reading in Green Bay at Lion's Mouth Bookstore 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 22. You can also order her book from her website at annettegrunseth.com.
My friend Nancy Dearborn will be reading from her children's book, Hugga Loula, at the Book Teller in Whitewater, Wisconsin at 10:30 a.m. on June 30th. You can also order her book by going to Nancy's website at nancydearbornauthor.com.
Just sent the rewritten text of The Book of Invasions to my publisher! Woohoo!
